Kallar Kahar Livelihoods Project: Supporting Livelihoods

The Kallar Kahar Livelihoods Project initiated in 2021 is a joint effort between Dunya Foundation and Akhuwat Foundation. This project aimed to uplift the livelihoods of individuals residing in Kallar Kahar. Kallar Kahar Livelihoods Project has made significant strides toward its objectives and witnessed a remarkable 100% recovery rate, reflecting the borrowers’ commitment and financial discipline.

The project’s core principles, which include interest-free loans, utilization of religious places, volunteerism, transforming borrowers into donors, and non-discrimination, aim to foster a sense of community participation, accountability, and transparency.
